Do you remember
the love story of
Leonardo DiCaprio and
Kate Winslet that drain tears in
Titanic movie? Apparently it was very liked by the public. Evidence,
Titanic was honored as the Best Chick Flick Movie of all time in a poll that was held by Fandango.com. The film which made by director
James Cameron is also regarded as the most successful movie.
People even say that Titanic movie is a romantic film of all time. I also really liked it until I watch it for so many times. Actually, a film directed by James Cameron in 1997 is a remake version of a similar-themed movie which made in 1953. Titanic movie tells the story of a very large cruise ship which got accident. The ship which sank because it hit an iceberg chunk is famous and unforgettable until now. Yes, that’s what inspired James Cameron. James Cameron slipped romantic story in true story of this tragic fact. The film portrays a sense of sincere and profound love of a man against the woman he loves.
This film background stories about different social strata. This problem is a classic thing that always exist in some of lovestory. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet and Billy Zane, this film tells the story of a couple with different social and economic levels who fell in love. Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio), is a poor man who is lucky to be able to participate on board Titanic to New York. Rose (Kate Winslet ) is a beautiful woman who has a higher social class compare to Jack’s level. Rose who refused an arranged marriage with a rich guy trying to jump off the boat and end her life. Jack who then happened to be at the scene, attempted to prevent Rose to do it. Jack managed to make Rose change her intention to commit suicide. Since then, they so often meet and communicate.
Eventually they fall in love each other. But unfortunately, Rose’s family did not like Jack. Rose who is ready to married, in fact engage in love with a poor man. For Rose’s big family, it was very embarrassing. Tragedy ensued. The large ship which was carrying tens of thousands of people was hit chunks of iceberg and suffered a leak. Slowly and surely, the ship was split and sank. In the midst of unrest that occurred, Javk tried to save his life and Rose. At the end Jack died because of freezing for the woman he loved. At the center floating in the ocean, Rose is on top of a timber and float, Jack precisely chosen to be in the water. Hold the hand of Rose and assured her that this all will end happily.
I’m sure, all the spectators moved with tears when watching this.
Theme song that used in this movie still famous until now, titled My Heart Will Go On, by Celine Dion. When I heard this song, I imagine that I am Rose who huge by Jack as shown in the Titanic movie.
